Recently my Zotac 3080ti Trinity OC died while playing FF16, the said graphics card was 3.5+ year old and was extensively used for gaming and local LLMs and was registered under extended warranty (total 5 years), in this article I will outline steps in case you wish to RMA your defective graphics card in India and share my experience of Zotac RMA and time it took to receive the replacement.
How to RMA ZOTAC graphics card in India
Instead of going directly to the service center, I would suggest to drop an email to [email protected], they also asked me to forward the extended warranty email even though I was contacting them via same email, so make sure you find that email beforehand, they will verify the purchase invoice, after that they will direct you to their nearest service center, thus at the service center you need not wait to complete the verification process. Currently Kaizen Infoserve is handling it and their nearest service center for me was in Nehru place, Delhi.
Zotac India RMA timeframe 2025
In my case I submitted my Zotac card on 10th April, 2025 and received a brand new replacement on 23th April, 2025. So, total time to RMA was 13 days only which I think is pretty low considering the horror stories I’ve read on RMA timeframes in India specifically.
While receiving the replacement graphics card, it is very important to ask them to test the card at the service center right then so you can rule out DOA cards, In my case, they were ready to give me the card but I asked if I can test it first, they obliged and ran furmark for couple of minutes at the back office in front of me and it was not crashing. My previous card was crashing on just driver load in Windows. From the looks of it, the replacement seems like a brand new card, check out the photos below though there is no way to know if it is a repaired card inside.
After reaching home I tested the card at playing Spiderman 2 at 4k and by running some local llms and all seems good for now.
