Recently when I enquired about the warranty services on Silicon Power website for my Amazon India purchased 1 TB SSD, I was surprised to see that they are not honoring the warranty in India and asking to ship to Taiwan, following enquiries for clarification and Amazon CC asking warranty denial letter received no response, basically ghosted by the customer care of Silicon Power. They are still happily selling the SSD and other stuff on Amazon India while not having a service center in India.
Here is the reply I received:

Kind to be noted that currently our company is now reorganizing, for product replacement, we are afraid that you may need to contact the original purchasing store or you may need to send the defective item back to Silicon Power Taiwan.For product replacement, we would like to confirm below information with you: 1. Please provide us clear photo of both front and back of the SSD 2. Can you still see the disk icon when you try to take it as storage drive? 3. Please provide us an error print screen or the disk not showing on the computer4. Please kindly provide us the receipt of where you bought this drive, soft copy or hard copy are both fine. So after that I contacted Amazon CC they in turn jumped from CC executives to further executives and after 10 jumps got to a guy who finally understood and told me to ask for service/warranty denial letter from the Silicon Power so they can refund. So, asked the same from Silicon Power and it has been 10+ days and multiple requests and it seems they have ghosted.
I think no company will ever provide service denial letter because it can land them in legal trouble, so best to avoid purchasing anything from Silicon Power brand in India.
