External GPU enclosure with RTX 5090 has arrived, with Thunderbolt port

Gigabyte has just launched an expensive RTX 5090 in an external GPU enclosure that you can connect to your existing mini PCs, laptops and computers with a thunderbolt port. The machine has been named as AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX, powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with 32GB VRAM and over 3000 AI TOPS, it delivers near-desktop-level graphics and AI capabilities. You can convert your old computers to a LLM inference machine using this AI box provided you have access to TB 5 port as it features a Thunderbolt 5 with 80Gbps bandwidth capability, it supports seamless data transfer, video output, and 100W Power Delivery 3.0 for laptop charging.

It features a WATERFORCE all-in-one cooling system, with a 240mm aluminum radiator, large copper base plate, and dual 120mm silent fans, ensures efficient heat dissipation and quiet operation during heavy loads of gaming and LLM inference. It also includes USB4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, Ethernet, and RGB lighting.
